Following the 2022 Melbourne Cocktail Festival Grainshaker Australian Vodka is gearing up for cocktail season by celebrating great drinks and giving one of the city’s best bartenders a money-can’t-buy holiday and agave spirit experience.
We’re offering a one bartender and a mate a trip to our Eden Lassie agave farm, the heart of the Australian Agave Project. Part of the Top Shelf International group of spirits, our agave plants are currently growing their way to maturity ahead of an agave spirit release in 2023.
As well as being one of the first in Australia to discover and explore this new Australian spirit you’ll enjoy an relaxing – and we’re guessing long overdue – weekend away on the banks of Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef.
Our agave fields are located 20° South of the equator between Bowen and Airlie Beach on the doorstep of one of the seven natural wonders of the world. They mirror Mexico’s Jalisco, which is located 20° North, making them ideal for growing agave. We’ll put you up for the weekend at Airlie Beach, one of Australia’s most picturesque resort towns.
To enter, we’d like you to develop your favourite Grainshaker Australian Vodka cocktail and list it at your venue for a minimum of four weeks.
Once the cocktail is listed, Grainshaker and Melbourne Cocktail Festival will send down an ambassador to sample and evaluate the cocktail. Creativity, ingenuity and – most importantly – flavour will be considered in choosing the final winner.
